Hi! I’m Dr. Hecox, and I’m so excited to be part of the team at Kindred Animal Hospital.
Being around animals has always been a constant in my life. It’s where I feel most at home, and it naturally led me down the path to veterinary medicine. There’s something incredibly special about being able to care for pets while also supporting the people who love them.
My approach to veterinary care is centered around treating each pet as an individual. I believe every pet is unique and deserves care that reflects their individual needs, personality, and lifestyle. I focus on tailoring medical recommendations to each patient rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. I also really value client education, so owners feel informed, involved, and comfortable with their pet’s care every step of the way.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy running and staying active, spending time with my daughter, and trying new restaurants around town. I love anything that lets me unwind, stay active, and make memories with family.

What is your favorite part about your job?
I love getting to be there for every stage of a pet’s life. From the first wellness visits, to helping them through minor illnesses, to the really hard but important moments at the end of life, I feel honored to walk that whole journey helping animals live happy, healthy lives while supporting the families who love them.
